(Your peoples knowledge of the island is your knowledge of the island and this is what your know)
Haarath, A small island in the north end of Celdynn is Lush and tropical. The east and west ends of the islands are covered in thick jungle and while most of the islands perimeter is smooth beach, a small portion of the east side is tall impassible cliff. Wonderful fruits grow within the jungle if you know where to look, but you must be willing to brave the dangerous beasts Ranging around the center of the island are tall sharp mountains said to be filled with shining stones are glittering ores and the mountains are ringed in marshland. The mountains are so tall that their tips are coated in a layer of frost year round. It is whispered amongst the people of the island that in the center of the mountain range is the cursed lake of blackwater and that rain never falls there. Blackwater is a thick viscous liquid that is set aflame by the smallest spark and burns with an intense flame. It is said that if the lake was to ever be set aflame, the entire island would be destroyed and to add to the rumors, many who travel there are never heard from again. Many ruins dot the island, mainly located within the thick overgrown jungles, it is said to be bad luck to explore them and that the souls of the angry dead haunt more than a few. Fishing is very plentiful to the east of the island, and very scarce to the north and to the east.

Many of the rumors that float around the island focus on the monsters in the night. skeletons found traveling the island of their own power covered in mold, entire hunting parties found dead their bones bleached as if they had lain in the sun for years though they only went missing a day before. Strange sounds from the jungles that could only be made by great beasts but none are ever found and statues of crystal copper are found in the mountains frozen into poses of horror and fear and shadows that come to life are seen all over the island. lizard folk to the south with great ships are also talked about, but much less frequently then the others. But those are just a few of the rumors, and how many of the could be true in this simple and superstitious land.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is the first day of your lives, it is the day that fate raises you to godhood! You reside in the courtyard of fate in the celestial gardens. You have been gathered here to be raised to godhood and preside over your people. Fate’s Courtyard is filled with the spirituals of souls waiting to be sent back to the well of souls and be reborn, as well as gods waiting for their turn to speak with fate but you have been sped through the line for fate had called for you specifically.
Fate himself is seated on his golden throne within his pavilion and today he appears as a robed figure shrouded in shadows. His hands are all that are visible, resting upon the arms of the thrown and they are that of a very old human, wrinkled and emaciated with age. “Thank you for coming so promptly” He says, his voice that of a young vibrant woman, completely in contrast with his visible features. It is not so much that you responded promptly, it is that you didn’t have much of a choice if you wanted to become a god, fate is just being polite. Walls of gold fall from the ceiling to wring the pavilion keeping out all prying eyes and ears. “You young gods of Harrath will be needed in the not too far future and will need time to prepare, so I am raising you to godhood now. Do not disappoint me.” And with the end of his statement he waves his hand and it feels as if shackles that were never there were released from your wrists and ankles, but a weight settles upon your shoulders. “ If you have questions ask them now, for when you leave this place you will have to wait in the line to speak with me. If you are done here, then go and do as you will.”

(Sorry for any rail-roading, but its always a little hard to avoid it in the beginning, and please remember that you are NEW gods and that this game takes place starting with the day you become gods. Right now your people are in no danger and are living the lives they would have lived before acquiring a god)

Kovoth stood respectfully and listened quietly. As Fate asked if they had any questions, he frowned. He looked around at his compatriots. It would be interesting to learn about them, and to work alongside them, if that was indeed Fate's desire. Come to think of it, there was a question. His voice rumbled, deep and strong, as he said, "O Fate, I wish for some clarification. Am I correct in thinking that it is your wish we work together?" He looked at his newly-appointed fellows. He knew that he would have to work long and hard to repay Fate for raising him to Godhead, and it would be a great and worthy challenge.

Dwalon is very interested on the perspective of his fellows on Nature, do they believe it to be concurred or embraced. But in his wisdom he listens to Fate and is ready, to preserve Lady Nature and his followers, his only response to Fate is to Thank him for his faith in Dwaylon, and that he shall not disappoint!

K'teria warmed the P'heron in the gently flickering embers of the fire. As always she was lost in the gentle licking of the flames. She had burned many a meal due to this fact, and this P'heron bird would be yet another if it wasn't for the timely interruption of H'stus. “Don't burn the bird woman, its the only thing I caught today woman!” K'teria slowly turned the spit at his voice, but did not lift her eyes from the flame. “Mind your words H'stus or the god of the flame will here your fuss and mistake it for a curse.” She muttered these words so earnestly and H'stus had heard them so frequently from her that he had long since started to believe what she was saying was true. Thus, he too began to star into the gentle flames. K'teria often talked as if she new this fire god personally. It was....unsettling. The monsoon like rains pelted the straw hut roof seemed to chant the power of the flame. So much so that H'stus began to wonder if the water would be able to put this fire out even if there were no roof at all. But as K'teria often said, even if it looks like a flame is out there is always an ember a spark in all living things. 'The fire burns within as well as without,' she had said many times. H'stus was sure she was right. He began to pray.

Ember stood before Fate, the shrouded figure interested him. Ember's own body gently flickered with fire, but otherwise appeared almost human. His ever changing form was a pale comparison to fates own every changing form. Ember realized this, but it did not bother. He knew that none compared to fate in presence or in power. It was something that Ember appreciated about the enigmatic entity that was Fate. Ember's outwardly calm appearance disguised well his inner fiery passion. He wanted to be a god. He wanted to be worshiped. He wanted to place his fire in the mortal men to drive them to great dreams and deeds, but it was best not to show such over-eagerness amongst these other gods or Fate.

“We are to prepare for what, Fate?,” said Ember in a smooth baritone voice. “Is there some coming conflict? And who are these others that have been called with me? Why did you select us among all those who could have been selected?”

In the back of his mind Ember was aware of the prayers of mortal men. He suspected that Fates pavilion was somehow interfering with their delivery, but the prayers seethed with passion and though he could not make out their content he felt the desire of his followers. The flames of Embers body burned brighter and his head was enveloped in flame at once.

Ga-Li glances at her fellow island gods, taking in what details she could about them, (As well as wondering why all had their faces uncovered, but perhaps is was a quirk on her end, not theirs.) before giving her question, her soft yet solid voice echoing through her mask, much like those who could speak underwater, or with their minds. "I have but one question of you Fate. Is there anything you would have us NOT do upon the island? Far be it from me to desire to interfere with a delicately ballanced plan." She then turns to the other gods. "My question for my fellows, is if any desire perhaps to speak among ourselves when all is finished here? Perhaps set some ground rules for interaction with the followers of the others, or see what the others can offer them to aid in any plans for their own people?"

Liriel the Fair looks around in curiosity about the other new gods. She knows that her strength lies in cooperation and hopes that the other gods will appreciate the trade goods of her people. The island of Haarath is lush and food is easy to find so her tribesmen have plenty of time to make trade goods such as wicker baskets, gourd water flasks pretty items like wampum. Already her traders are setting off across the island to learn the technologies and resources known to the other humans. Soon she hopes to start brokering goods between villages.

"Thank you Lord Fate for this opportunity. I hope that we can all in our own way contribute to your plans."

Kovoth Tal glanced at the veiled one. After a brief pause, he said, "I believe such conversations would be fruitful. I will participate in your meeting." He then turned back to Fate, awaiting a response to his question.

He can feel the thrill of the hunt that his "Living trees" were having and he longs to watch and feel the appreciation as one of his followers is successful in a hunt and thanks Dwaylon and Nature for his success. Dwaylon is pleased but anxious to get to his people, "I will gladly participate in said discussion." booms Dwalon's deep and wise voice, much like that of a caring but strict father.

Khorne took his wrists and pretended to break them free of the chains "Heh, I need no luck from you spirit," he still didn't seem to realize he wasn't in old world anymore. "What is this damned place? I have never been here. If you wish to be useful where may I find suitable blood to engorge myself upon?" he asked taking up his sword upon his shoulders and looked annoyed "How dare you to shackle Khorne," he muttered. But he wasn't a fool he could tell this one could squash him like a fly if he wasn't careful. He was never scared of another celestial being in all his life. Him and his arch enemy Sigmar.

Haois nodded in a sagely matter. His movements causing his body to shimmer and make blunt clinks like wind chimes made of glass. He nodded to Fate respectfully "I have heard many rumors here, of 7 leviathan that lay in rest and try to destroy the settlements here. Is that who are enemy is?" he asked "If so who is the enemy of which we must face? As well as to what words of wisdom may you share when facing this enemy Fate." he asked with a questionable look and a slight frown which made him delve deep into thought and strategy. He then looked around at the rest of the people "From what it appears the enemy must be fierce if all of us are to be sent to defy this force. I propose we join forces together for the love of fellowship and survival." he said with a friendly smile and nod voice not felt with much urgency but all the same showing a form of need. He then sighed and looked at the multitudinous formed string-puller as he considered Fate. "With all due respects I am very sure that all of us would have came here willingly. What need was there of these chains that brought us here? Unless this was more covert than we considered...." he said "From what this sounds I can make the assumption that this is a very secretive quest." he said pondering as to what the catch truly was.
