FYI you can roll dice when you place a post on the forums.

Just reply back to this post and roll something if you want to try it out.

I will post a few rolls here.

Fate cast down several thunderous blue bolts into the mass gathering of demonic forces in the valley near the cape of Frinth. His goal, total destruction.

D30 on a village scale vs. 3 D6s for the 300 wailing tribesmen.

They have a remote prayer in hell of living through this.

Holy crap they lived! Well 200 of them. Fate holds an edge over the demonically possessed tribesmen since he is Fate after all Very Happy

Fate was drunk and hit a flock of geese with most of that blue bolt. (That is what he keeps telling himself).

Now Fate decides to send his Grapplers to clean up the mess he made.

He sends a total of 100 to clean up his mess. They roll on a d10 vs. the villagers with a 2d6. Should be easy right?

Before this roll note the steps to resolving a conflict.

1. Determine Scale
2. Determine Number of Dice
3. Determine Dice Size
4. Roll the Dice (ties go to the combatant with an edge)
5. Determine Outcome
6. Repeat untill the conflict is resolved
7. Gain and Lose belief

So the initial conclusion

The Grapplers of Fate came down enmass and started sucking the villagers up into their maws. Most of the villagers were caught in their tentacles and failed in their struggles to escape.

Now for a second roll to see if the the bodies were all devoured and the soul was harvested.

This is a secondary roll similar to the first.

Second post here will have full information on Grapplers from the Celestial Gardens

*Note: I should have declared it was body vs. body.

The conflict is resolved with the grapplers eating the bodies and souls. They float off one by one to the heavens where the demon souls will face banishment to the Well of Souls.

Let's see if I can get this to work.

Roll for the freshly-empowered Elucidator vs the strange clay entities, attempting to see into their thoughts.

d12 (Mind) +1 (Resource) +1 (Miracle), with opponents losing die size (I hope) for the scale of the miracle over-matching them.
