I thought anyone involved in (or even just following along with) the "Dark Jungle" play by post game should probably be aware of the upcoming movie "Aztec Rex". It promises to be a really cheesy flick, but the theme is strangely appropriate: Conquistadors and Aztecs getting attacked by dinosaurs.

Sure, as a movie it'll probably suck. But I intend to watch it, even if I'm mentally replacing the conquistadors with salamanders and rooting for the Aztecs.... *g*

I will be sure to check it out

Right now I think Finals has a lot of people engaged with other activities.

So how was the movie, Tygerr?

Better than I expected. There were 'good guys' and 'bad guys' in both camps, and (as I should have expected) a romance between a 'good guy' Spaniard and a 'good guy' Aztec hottie. (Okay, 'guy' is the wrong word to use here. Work with me.)

So the whole gestalt of 'conquistador = salamander' I was expecting/hoping to use just didn't work. But for all the right reasons.

OTOH, the special effects sucked rocks. Even by TV standards.
